Miscellaneous talk（11.25-11.29）

Thanks to our company’s detailed security policy, the pace of project launch has been slow, which means that my work has been very easy this week.

I programmed some programs about algorithms, Dijkstra’s algorithm and Chudnovsky algorithm. My favorite thing this week was watching APPLE TV’s Foudation, adapted from Isaac Asimov’s novel of the same name.

The first twenty minutes of the film are a bit boring. The story of a mathematical genius girl Gaal for a few days leads to the narrative of the entire world view.

Once I sorted out the context of the narrative, I was hooked. Mathematics, space, history, human society, and some reflections of real society, these elements that interest me are all in this series, so I decided to follow the entire series. The work of a great Russian writer! Although I don’t like Russian society, I am amazed by some great Russian writers and mathematicians.

I think of a Russian saying that As long as the Department of Mathematics at Moscow State University exists, the Russian people will endure.

It is worth mentioning that Liu Cixin’s work style is also deeply influenced by Asimov.

I will continue to work in the computer industry to support my pursuit of the career I love. At least I think people live for hope and love. It’s late, good night.
